On Friday, March 14, 2014 Social Advocates for Youth San Diego (SAY San Diego) hosted its annual General Staff Meeting and Health and Lifestyle Expo at the LSCC. The meeting convened more than 250 employees of the locally based nonprofit agency. The purpose of the meeting was to bring together all staff and acknowledge the past year’s accomplishment and honor four team members who have gone above and beyond to serve their clients and the community. The general staff meeting was followed by an expo, sponsored by Health Dimensions that highlighted the importance of health and well-being.
This was the first time that SAY San Diego has hosted this event at the LSCC and organizers were very pleased with the location and staff. “Prior to our event the LSCC staff were easy to work with, accommodating, and quick to respond. Then day of our event they were present and helpful, the space was set up perfectly, as well as clean and bright. They really helped create a positive atmosphere for our event,” said Allie Lindley, SAY San Diego’s lead organizer for this event.
